Molly Malones Irish Pub at Yiannitsopoulou 8 in Glyfada opened on 4 December 2003 and has become a popular night spot in the suburb. It is th eresult of collaboration between four Irish partners who came together for the first time in this enterprise. It was conceived to fill an appparent gap in Athens’ social scene, there being no authentic Irish Pub within the city at that time. There are now, of course two other sister pubs, the James Joyce in Monasteraki and O’Connells in Piraeus.
