Molly Malone’s Irish Pub at Yiannitsopoulou 8 in Glyfada opened on 4 December 2003 and has already become a popular night spot in the suburb. It is the result of collaboration between four Irish partners who have come together for the first time in this enterprise. It was conceived to fill an apparent gap in Athen’s social scene, there being no other authentic Irish pub within the city.
The bar offers a wide range of Irish and foreign drinks particular favourites being Jamesons Whiskey and Guinness and Kilkenny beers.
Food is also available, the menu includes probably the only Irish Stew on any menu in Athens.
From time to time special events are held at Molly Malone’s, there was live Irish music at St. Patrick’s weekend, all the six nations rugby matches were shown live and many other sporting events will be on view during the year.
Molly is totally irish managed and staffed.
